2016 was nothing short of the busiest, most successful year-to-date for Victorian-based Residual. From sold-out hometown shows, a regional Victorian tour, a hugely successful month-long residency at The Workers Club in Melbourne, being voted #1 in 5Why’s 5 of the Best Local Live Acts of 2016 and named in Forte Magazine’s 20 Bands in Regional Vic Who Killed it in 2016, the Geelong lads went from strength to strength.
If that wasn’t enough, their second EP, 'Haunt' debuted at #3 on iTunes Australia’s Indie chart not long after their single 'All For You' gained widespread media and Spotify support. After their success at The Workers Club and demand from Melbourne fans, the boys will return to the city to headline a residency spot every Wednesday in May at the newly refurbished Railway Hotel in Brunswick. Kicking off this Wednesday, May 4 the boys will be joined by special guests Liv Cartledge, FEELDS, Big Creature, Empire Park, Hannah Blackburn and Jordan Riddle.
The boys flew into 2017 with a British India support at The Wool Exchange on January 20 and have just returned to Victoria after a hugely successful Sofar Sounds and acoustic fan event in Sydney. Make sure you head along and check the boys out in May - their live show really is second to none.
